We enjoyed a visit with our friends from California on October 21 when we drove out to the West Fork of Oak Creek, north of Sedona and took a short walk. Here are my favorites from that trip.

My two cross stitch projects done this year

Here is my first big cross stitch project begun in 2009 while Sam was getting daily IVs. I planned to give this to Yvette, but wasn't able to get it mounted and framed before her death (although I did show it to her after the stitching was finished). However, it's going to hang on the wall near where her ashes rest in her beautiful urn.

and this one was started this year. I love the Asian look of it.

Looking for Fall's Final Show in Arizona

We drove out to Payson, then on to Flagstaff via Camp Verde to see what vestiges of fall color we could find. Here the best three photos, taken just west of Payson, off the 260.
